Terms of Service

The short version: use Lifetimed responsibly, your data is yours, and the service is provided as-is.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lifetimed application ("App") provided by Positive Social Digital Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

  • • By downloading, installing, or using Lifetimed, you agree to these Terms.
  • • If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
  • • Lifetimed does not impose an app-wide minimum age. Where applicable law requires it, a parent or guardian must authorize a younger user’s account and data processing.
  • • Starter does not include AI. AI in Plus and Pro requires a birthday showing that you are at least 18 and an active eligible plan. Cloud AI also requires your consent to AI sharing. Your birthday is self-reported; it is not identity verification. Manual journaling, planning and capture remain available when AI is unavailable or turned off.

Use of the Service

  • • Lifetimed is a personal productivity and life-capture application.
  • • You may use the App for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • • You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or share through the App.
  • • You agree not to misuse the App or help anyone else do so.

Your Content

  • • Ownership: You retain all rights to your content. We do not claim ownership of your data.
  • • Local Storage: Most data is stored locally on your device.
  • • Cloud Backup & Sync: Optional backups and synced entries are encrypted with keys managed by Lifetimed. The service can decrypt that content to provide backup and sync. Synced photos and files use private account storage and are not encrypted by the app before upload. Account details and preferences are processed separately. See our Privacy Policy.
  • • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up your data.

Subscriptions and Payments

  • • Using the App requires an active subscription. We offer three paid plans — Starter, Plus, and Pro — with increasing features.
  • • You can personalize your setup before purchasing; an active subscription is required to continue using the App.
  • • Exporting your data remains available without an active subscription.
  • • Starter includes manual app features without AI. Plus includes 300 AI credits per calendar month and Pro includes 1,000, subject to AI eligibility and consent. Included credits reset at the start of each UTC month and do not roll over.
  • • Active Plus and Pro users can purchase one-time AI credit packs through RevenueCat: 100 for US$4.99, 300 for US$12.99, or 1,000 for US$34.99. Your store shows the applicable localized price before purchase. Purchased credits never expire and remain in your account when your plan changes; an active eligible plan is required to use them.
  • • AI uses included credits first. Text length, images, document pages and recording duration can affect the rates shown in Settings › AI credits. Failed requests return reserved credits. Manual writing and saving use no credits.
  • • Credits are added after payment verification. Refunded or reversed purchases remove the corresponding credits; if those credits have already been spent, later credits first cover that balance. Credit balances cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  • • On the web, subscriptions are billed through Stripe. On iOS and Android, they are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • • You can cancel anytime — through your Stripe billing portal on the web, or your device's subscription settings on mobile.
  • • Refunds are handled according to Stripe's or the respective app store's policies.

Apple App Store Terms

  • • On iOS and iPadOS, the App is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). Where these Terms are stricter, these Terms apply.
  • • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, warranty, or to handle any claim relating to the App; those are our responsibility.
  • • App Store subscriptions are billed, renewed, cancelled, and refunded by Apple under its terms. Deleting your Lifetimed account does not cancel an App Store subscription — cancel it in your device's Settings under Subscriptions.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • • Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
  • • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
  • • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • • Use the App to harm, harass, or exploit others
  • • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

Disclaimer of Warranties

  • • The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
  • • We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • • We are not responsible for any data loss due to device failure, software bugs, or user error.
  • • AI features are provided for convenience, require an eligible Plus or Pro plan, and may not always be accurate. Cloud processing uses third-party providers (Google Gemini and OpenAI); supported devices may offer local Apple Intelligence processing. Always review AI-generated content before relying on it.

Limitation of Liability

  • • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • • Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Termination

  • • You may stop using the App at any time.
  • • You may delete your account and data through the App settings.
  • • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
  • • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

  • • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • • Material changes will be communicated through the App or email.
  • • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

  • • These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
  • • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
  • • If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
